Opportunity 
This position provides the opportunity to join the maxx-solar team and become the Cape Town representative of the maxx-solar energy. maxx-solar energy means an international team coming from Germany and South Africa, an open operational atmosphere with great support of creativity and individual ideas and much potential to contribute to the growth of one of South Africa’s leading wholesalers.

Responsibilities
Identify and close sales opportunities in the Western Cape area, specifically within the maxx-solar academy alumni network in accordance to the maxx-philosophy and be the central contact person of maxx in the South of the country with a focus on the Western Cape.
Develop and maintain relationships with alumni and other partners of maxx-solar energy by providing technical and strategic support.
Maintain and strengthen the alumni network in Cape Town, organize frequent social events and enable the exchange of ideas between maxx and the alumni themselves.
Approach existing players in the market in the Western Cape area to assess possible co-operations and alliances.
First contact with external leads and distribution to maxx-team partners.
Train in the Sunrise Intermediate and Solar Power Technician Course of the maxx-solar academy.
Assist the purchasing department to define and improve the product portfolio 
for use in the South African market by regularly gathering feedback from customers, 
business partners and by closely monitoring industry trends.
Develop and implement marketing campaigns for the Western Cape area, support national-wide campaigns to contribute to the growth of the brand maxx-solar.
Accompany joint marketing campaigns and events with SolarEdge.
Supervise the maxx-solar warehouse in Cape Town, provide forecasts regarding stock levels and support the local warehouse manager in the inventory.
Requirements
BA / BSc or comparable level of education in an electro-technical discipline or in marketing / business administration with a good technical understanding
1-2 years of experience in technical sales  (PV industry experience – advantage)
Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
Excellent self-management skills
Fluent English and ideally German
